I notice on the application form it says:
"Are you willing to commute about 1 hour from your home to your school?"
Is it common to live that far, or is it just there so they can cover their butts? |

I don't think it is common. It takes most people I know around 5-15 min to get to school, either by bus, subway, or walking. I know one person who commutes about 45 min; his school was cheap and placed him in housing far from the school. |

Yeah, I kind of figured that's what it was.
I have a few friends in Seoul, so I figure if they stick me super far, I can get some help looking for new housing - as long as I do it within the allowed time frame for swapping.
