Is it possible to do a visa run after having overstayed my visa (by 2 days) back in 2007? I've heard about a rule that prohibits past immigration offenders from obtaining E2 visas in a 3rd country. Does anyone have any information or experience with this?
I'm currently in my home country. I'd like to find a summer camp position in Korea and look for a year long contract while I'm there. I would get my C4 visa here, but what are my chances of getting an E2 visa in Japan? Have any immigration offenders obtained their visa in a 3rd country under the post 12/15 rules? Thanks for any info or advice. |

Which is why you don't wanna break the law in this country or any other. |

Same thing with me, I got a C-4 visa no problem from in Korea then did the run to Japan. However when I tried to get the new E-2 I had the problems. If you are in your own country now you may want to see if you can get your qualifications verified from the embassy before you get back to Korea as this is what they want to do if you ever overstayed. |
