|
|
I just got my VISA and now I need to buy my flight ticket. Anyone find the cheapest way over there?
I have to arrive at the INCHON airport at around morning or early afternoon Korean time.
Any suggestion where to go look and is there better days to book (like wednesday or some crazy insider trick)? |

If you're from US or Canada, try cheapoair.com or flyforless.ca.
Good luck! |

hi,
i used to travel a lot for my old job and went through a lot of websites booking tickets. i searched through these sites for tickets. if you are looking to save money, you're best bet is to go through a airfare consolidator so you can get the cheaper 1 stop flights
www.kayak.com
www.mobissmo.com (really thorough search of all airfare sites)
www.sidestep.com
www.orbitz.com
www.cheaptickets.com (decent deals here)
www.farecompare.com
www.bookingbuddy.com
www.priceline.com
www.expedia.com
www.travelocity.com
www.vayama.com <~ probably your best bet
www.statravel.com <~ if you're under 26 and/or are a graduating student
www.
definitely look into rates from airlines directly too. asiana seems to be giving the best rates for direct flights to korea right now
www.flyasiana.com
www.koreanair.com
www.jal.com <~ gives really good fares to korea if you're willing to stop over somewhere
www.nwa.com <~ layover in japan
i actually just booked my flight through a private agency (saved about $200). might want to look into any local asian travel agencies where you are
best days to depart - sundays-thursdays. cheaper.
when to book - before wednesdays. airlines price adjust about mid week.
also- if you're interested, you can earn a lot of miles on this trip and mileage programs are free. it's about 6500 miles for me one way (NYC to ICN) and most programs will let you get a free flight after about 20,000-25,000 miles. it's easy to earn if you plan to go back home for a vacation |
