What do you do with an old fridge/freezer? Should I just set it outside at the garbage area, or do I have to call someone to get something that big?

Don't worry, I'll chain up the door so Tiberius won't get locked in there by accident.

I've seen big objects put outside with a city approval for the object's disposal, so the g-truck guys will take in and not otherwise just leave it there. It was a yellow sticker.
If you can't get one of those you could use the old fridge for physical training. Pretend it's a martial arts assailant and waltz with it rocking around the room push by shove.

You have to go to your local dong-office to register it as garbage. You pay about 10,000W or so and get a big fat sticker to place on it. They'll give you a day for pick-up, and you just need to place it out front somewhere.

Or you can try selling it at some used place... there are two good used shops near Yongsan.

You have to get letters from all your ex-girlfriends giving you permission to dispose of it in Korea. These must be notarised and sent, in triplicate, to Korean Immigration. After that you must carry it on your back to all the gay bars in Itaewon and ask each go-go dancer to sign it. Then you must hurl it into the Han River, waving an American flag. After that, you must post all the unpleasant things that happened to you during this process on Dave's. Then, finally, blame it on the Canadians.

I haven't been to the gay joints in a looong time. Do they have go-go dancers now?
You can probably take the door up one of the various beautiful mountains and attempt a sleigh ride and then take the body of the fridge apart piece by piece and just drop parts around town.
Or you can lay the case on it's back and use it as a rabbit breeding pen...or
Ah screw it, I can't top Pyongshin's post.

Do I know them well? Does anyone really know anyone, Derrek? Isn't that how you and I ended up in Korea? Looking too hard for the details, missing the big picture. Hmmm? Derrek, actually, I need a favour. Can I live in your old fridge after March 1? Things are kinda nebulous these days.
