Well, the warm weather is coming...and well so is my baby. It's unfortunate, but I need to sell my motorcycle and buy a car Sad

Price: 1,800,000 WON (firm)
Year: 2004
Model: Mirage 250
mileage: 2600km (since a complete overhaul)
info:
The story on the bike is this...I bought it from a Hyosung Dealer at the end of December. The shop got the bike in October, and while the shop was slow and boring in November, they decided to strip the bike down and do a rebuild. The engine got rebuilt, the bike got a custom matte black paintjob (as well as the engine), all new parts and accessories, new brakes, new tires, and much more. When I saw this bike it was absolutely awesome and instead of buying the new 2009(which didn't look nearly as nice) I immediately put a deposit down and went back the following week and drove it out of the shop. I have regularly maintained it from the same shop every 500km and the shop owner and mechanics have been very nice to the foreigner.
It truly is a great looking and performing bike, I absolutely love it and it really saddens me to have to sell it especially with the warm, sunny weather approaching.

Here are some pics:

Also: The bike will come with a helmet, motorcycle lock, and a bike cover. All the paperwork is valid and in my possession.

I live in Incheon, but will try my best to facilitate any interested buyers. The best places to meet to see the bike is Songnae Station(rapid train from Yongsan), or take it over to Anyang Station.
There will be no joyrides, and money will be on hand before a test drive will be given.

Post below, or send me a PM to get further contact information to arrange a phone call or meeting.
Thanks, and believe me when I say this bike will not disappoint

That Hyosung retro look combined with the flat black motif gives it a real "Third Reich" zeitgeist. Doncha think...?!

It is a nice looking ride though.

I'd consider it myself if I didn't already have my Honda Shadow.

soupbone, I talked with the shop owner about getting the paint job for you. He said it would cost 500,000WON, and take about 2 weeks. They have to strip your bike down and take off all the parts. They'll paint the front forks, engine, tank, frame, fenders and other components for that price.
Also, the shop is in Incheon so I don't know whether that it would be convenient for you. If you live in Seoul there must be a lot of shops that could do it for you...and probably cheaper(??)
Anyways, hope this is useful for you

I'm curious about the paint job. I notice a lot of chrome parts on your bike have been painted. Did they remove the chrome plating, prep the metal, and repaint, or powdercoat it black, or did they just paint over the chrome?

The reason I ask is that paint won't stick very well to chrome and will soon begin to flake or wear off. I have seen paint jobs here where they just paint over the chrome. It looks fine for a couple of months...that's it.
