I dreaded 30, then 40, but it just keeps getting better!
Wonder where that true crest of the proverbial hill to be gone over is?

43..or 44, not sure which anymore. Two kids, one just a little baby. I'll take being a geriatric at their graduation. Better than not having it at all.
Congratulations ajjoshi.

<--- about to turn 30 and very excited to cross 400 days in SK. It's a crazy place, a crazy way of life, but I'm looking forward to looking back at 35 and going "Dang, the last 5 years went by FAAAAST!" Hopefully, I can have something good to show for it besides a busted liver and a few more scars.

Hope it was a good one! I'm probably closer in you to age than a lot of these kids - I'm 34. Anyway, hope you had a great day!

Van, 40's still ok.

I think it's at 50 that you start considering jumping off a cliff, because you wake up, look in the mirror, tilt your head and make that Korean sucking air thru your teeth sound and look perplexed?

or do it Western way - scream at the image in the mirror - WTF are YOU???

For most men, there comes that one or two "magical" (NOT) year/s in their forties where they age 5-10 years. It's so pathetically scary, it just sucks all hope out of you.

I can show you pics of famous movie actors who were STUDS in their thirties.. even at 40... now they're late 40's or 50, early 50's and they are scary scary looking.. as in, WTF are YOU???

(e.g. J Claude V. Damme, K. Costner, and the Swedish guy who played Ivan Drago in Rocky - his name escapes me.. aha Dolph Lundgen.)

they didn't get fat mind you, they're still quite lean - but the faces now are scary scary scary.

re kids/family, don't worry - most of the world does this the WRONG way.

say the average guy settles down around 30.. has a couple of kids by 35.
He's done raising them in 20 years.

Now he's 55. What is left for him? Nothing. Zero. Nada. He's waiting to die.
maybe he'll take up golf and see how many of the old bags he can nail at the retirement home.

You're doing this right. You are milking the very last of your youthful vigor, looks and energy.

Have your kid,s at 50-55 and you're done with them at 75, at which point you're pretty ready to die, but won't have to suffer thru 20 extra years of needlessly waiting to die.

since you won't be getting any decent tail after 50, you might as well marry (a much younger woman of course) , and do the family thing for the rest of your days, since frankly, there is NOTHING else for you to do.

so don't sweat - you're doing this the right way.
