Do you think I can get a better deal on a plane tix from the states if I wait? Right now the prices are around $900 for a one way tix. |

Hard to say. It kind of depends on your departure date. Try the site www.tripmama.com or www.travelzoo.com. They compare the rates from multiple search engines.
Good luck! |

I don't know about you, but I'm giving about 48 hours beforehand on any notice that I can go somewhere. There's no way to prepare in advance for a vacation or at the end of a contract, I think. |

You'll need your E2 visa/passport, before you board the plane. I'd give that priority. Try China Airlines via Taiwan. They have flights from North America to Taiwan, then on to Incheon, Seoul.

I booked a flight before my E2 visa / passport were returned by Korean Immigration, but was 'bumped', because I didn't pay cash up front. I rebooked through another travel agent, & paid cash a couple of days before my passport was returned. No further problems. |
