Korea has been the opposite of China as I dont vibe with most people here, including the whities. |
Where were you in China? My city has about two million people. I have no idea how many foreigners, maybe between 200 and 2000 ? I've met a few and seen a few others, so I know they exist. Oddly enough, most Chinese aren't too fond of reciprocal staring. Strangely they get uncomfortable about it and tend to avert their gaze. Sometimes they just continue with it anyway even when you're giving as much as you're receiving. I'm aware many Asians are genetically programmed to react in various ways upon the sight of us exotic outsiders. No one can fight what's in their DNA.

I have not been to China save for Hong Hong, but the poorer countries tend to be friendlier with some exceptions. As far as the whites of other countries, I cannot comment, but I've made plenty of friends in Korea, but the people who come here could be a little friendlier than they are, and I am not sure if it is because they're in Korea or not. In general, back home people don't necessarily go out of their way to say hello or top of the mornin' to you, except in the US South or some places in Quebec and Ontario if someone is in a very friendly mood.
There are plenty of good people out there...... There just needs to be better ways to connect people..... |

3MB - I think projecting your own misery on my content self, is pathetic.
Existance should be existence. You're a failed teacher!
I think I'm quite successful. I am about to start my 3rd consecutive year with GEPIK, I have a cheap online TESOL certificate, and no debts at all.
My health is also good. I joke around on here, but I do have some friends. I don't attempt to seek out new friends, so the idea of me being rejected by others is false.
I am an introvert, and it's true I like to talk about what is on my mind. At least I have one, a mind that is...... |

Do you want to get into a pissing contest? Fine. 3 years at GEPIk,...all at the same school? From your own posts we all know you failed miserably at your other school and that to tuck tail and run. 3 years at Gepik lol..wow. Im impressed LOL. I did 3 consecutive years at a public elementary school, SAME school, followed by a 2 year stint at a public highschool. I moved on and opened my own business which earns me more than twice what I used to earn at public schools. Part time work nets me additional income, so much so that I earn your salary just in part-time work. I earn three to four times what you earn, without having to deal with co-teachers or bosses. You are the failure for being stuck working for anyone other than yourself, answering to some 20ish co-teacher as if she were your boss. Face it, you are at the bottom at your school and will never be anything more.
I live in an apartment that I paid for. I drive a 20 million won car I bought with cash straight up, I have no debts and I will complete an MBA in the next 2 years, not some cheapo TESOL certificate. I run a 20 minute 5K and I run a 41 minute 10k. What else do you want to have a pissing contest over, loser?
Finally, how old are you? I get the feeling you are one of those old geezers who failed back home, came here, and failed some more. |

So you have married a Korean woman and got the appropiate visa to start your own business teaching English to Koreans - so what? Hardly a big deal is it? Any moron with the marriage visa could make money here
- it is the equivalent to bragging about shooting fish in a barrel.
And to say he will never be anything - who are you? Mystic Meg? Have you actually met him? |

Your tone proves your a loser. I've never claimed to be a loser or a winner. For you to feel the need to say 'I've got this much money, I'm so fantastic, I'm so rich' etc. proves you are a nobody, wherever you may be.
The examples I gave of my success were meant to be tongue-in-cheek.
You didn't even realize it. Why?
Because you're from a country which is going downhill, permanently.
I am not even interested in you or what you have achieved.
I simply rebutted your brainless remarks.
I suppose you don't speak with an English accent.
I think that beats you hands down. Not that I'm interested. |

Wow now you're bashing his country? Which would be what?
I guess the U.S.A.? Because the U.K. has been rising solidly in power since it controlled 2/3 of the known world?
I have a low tolerance for self-important people that bitch and moan constantly, how about that?

Why are you Americans so sensitive? Like we are all running around waiting to bash your shithole of a country any chance we get... when the facts are most of us just do not give a toss about America
Maybe - just maybe - FTUK is talking about 3MBs country (Republic of Ireland) and that now the 'celtic tiger' has flushed down the pan - the country is in terminal decline! Just as well 3MB has the backroom where he can teach his privates all the hours Gods sends whilst doing his 7 minute miles. |

| Since when am I Irish? And I certainly run below 7 minutes for the mile. Just yesterday I ran a 6:40 mile AFTER having ran 50 minutes. |

I thought you were Irish - I stand corrected!
Pffth - When I was a soldier I used to do 7.30 for my BFT run (2.4 kms)
It is no big deal if you train hard enough for it - couldn't do it now though! |

I'm American? You must by pyschic since I didnt say 'Dont bash my country, man!' I just commented on how foolish it was to bash a country as 'going downhill' when your own country isnt exactly lighting the world on fire.
Sorry that was too complex for you to unravel.
And your mileage time is awesome for the 60+ crowd. I'm going to assume you were a lazy Canadian soldier who has a massive inferiority complex and a chip on his internet shoulder so you prowl the message boards bragging about a rather piddly running time. Good work. |

You can tell you are an american because it is only the americans who would get so wound up on any percieved slight on their country - up until now - nobody knows which country FTUK is referring to - but still - you get wound up - epic fail!

'Complex' and 'American' ... Oh please!

Again - your arrogance is astounding - if anyone says anything contrary about America according to your world view - it is an inferiority complex or we are on a hating mission I don't give your country much thought if truth beknown - Sorry!
As for 1 1/2 miles in 7 minutes 30 seconds - thats a bloody good time even for an infantry soldier - I like to see some Iteawon bound English teacher try and do that distance in that time - I don't think there would be many capable of doing it in 10.30 from what I have seen! |

Yes my arrogance. Gosh I just signed up for the upcoming Hangang race, but I guess I'm just a 10 minute Itaewon guy.
Gosh, you Canadians are so touchy. Someone mentions America and you cant wait to jump all over it. For not 'giving a toss' you sure get wound up.
Sorry, I wasnt commenting on your fake internet time, but your real time. How many martial arts are you a master of? When was the last threesome you had? How many Boston marathons have you won? Does it ever bother you being a hasbeen that trolls the Korean message boards?
oh wait, dont answer, cause I dont really give a toss about you. and dont be so darn sensitive! *kiss*

So you are running some race over here? Big deal! I'm sure you are capable of doing the 2 minute mile eh? And try running 7.30 in boots!

Believe it or don't believe it - I don't care.. However - I was replying to 3MB who was talking about running times and all I said was that his (and my) running times are achieveable with a bit of solid training.
