Hate might be a bit strong, but I don't like them much. Another playoffs and another disappearing act. Granted they didn't disappear until the second round this time. I hope the canucks don't sign them again.
I never liked their playing style much. They have improved every year in the league but just keep disappearing in the playoffs.

I don't know if I'd say 'disappeared' this year. Certainly didn't stand out.

The team as a whole threw away too many leads and took stupid penalties in last night's game. Luongo was less than stellar, players like Burrows, Raymond and Kesler didn't do as well as I thought they would.

There's only so much that one line can do, especially if they're up against the top D-men on the other team, and Chicago have some big crushing guys at the back.

I'm so happy the Blackhawks decided to change their strategy from hiring Russians who can't play hockey. The Bill Wirtz we-suck-but-that's-okay-because-we-have-the-best-jersey-you'll-never-see-on-tv-while-I'm-alive era is over.

Drop a puck 'cause someone taught these boys to skate!

Sedins were top points guys for Canucks. Burrows was hurt and played like crap. Series was rigged by refs. They made sure that Vancouver could not play a tough style so that the Hawks could use their speed.

Watch the game replays and it is obvious refs fixed the series. It was non calls on hawks goons that changed the outcome and put Luongo off his game( Buf hit Luongo 3 times in the head before those last 3 goals)

PP to hawks always shifted momentum and if they didnt score th refs would have just giving them more chances.

Refs sent message that Hawks can goon it up and if the canucks try and do the same they will sit in the penalty box. This made sure the Canucks were confused what to do.

You sound like another group of people.

Anyways, can't disagree more. The Blackhawks were just the better team. The first 3 games were close, but after that, the Hawks just outplayed the Canucks.

in the last game there were a few non calls on the hawks that I noticed. Enough to change the game? Maybe. If the canucks were playing to their full potential they would have won the game anyways. They messed it up for themselves.
in the blues series the sedins were pretty good. in the chicago series they weren't much of a factor.

Your best players and goalie get gooned and their best players can roam around freely and that doesnt change a series?

Look at the hit on kesler before he gave up the puck in game 4. All late period chnages were direct results of refs shifting momentum.. It was fixed and I have never complianed about a fix in 35 years of watching hockey. Watch the games hab geek.

people who want to whine about officiating all the time should either become leafs fans or stick to watching soccer. not to mention that chicago actually spent more time in the penalty box throughout the series.

It is in the interests of the league to get the Canadian teams out of the playoffs as soon as possible. Which might help explain why Canadian teams don't do well in the playoffs. At the same time though, the top canadian teams usually don't have as much talent as the top american teams.

Canucks caught a bad bounce late in game 4---they could have been up 3-1 in series.

fixed?--what a crazy penalty call on Wash late in a tied game 6. crazy-made me think the league want Crosby to go on and I never say this stuff either. fishy.

the stanley cup matchups over the past 5 seasons (including this one) are enough to debunk any anti-canadian NHL conspiracy. 3 out of 10 (30%) of the stanley cup finalists have been canadian teams, which is greater than the ratio of canadian teams in the league (6 out of 30 = 20%).

3 canadian teams in the past 5 years. I can only remember once for Edmonton and and once for Calgary. Which team is the third?
