hi everyone Smile

I want to upgrade from an olympus mju 5.0 mp to something that is more professional..

I would like a camera that takes good shots at night time or indoors with dim lighting, fast moving objects, fireworks, panorama and short movies...

my current camera doesn't really do any of the above....it is great for day time stuff and outdoors but thats about it...

I am considering the CANON REBEL aka 400 or 450....

If you can think of other cameras that are excellent quality that have world wide service (for NZ/Australia in particular) and have a good bundle of accessories included (like a decent memory card, lens etc)

and thats not too too pricey...(I would say 800 000 won is my limit)

please give me specs...

thanks!

kg Smile Cool

You will have to drop quite a lot of cash to get the video function on a DSLR (I think the chepest you can get is a Rebel T1i $800 for body only, Nikon will cost you even more)

The Canon models you mentioned dont a video function.

I agree with the previous poster. Get something like Nikon D40, or Rebel XT and upgrade the lenses. If you've got your heart set on a video function, keep a cheap point and shoot around Smile
