I'll be traveling alone for 3 weeks or so in europe. May opt to do the backpacking thing, but also interested to see what's available tour wise.

Does anyone know any tour companies that do european tours that don't include plane tickets? I can't seem to find one using the google.

Actually, I might as well also ask if anyone else is heading to Europe in late July and August. If so, and you want/need someone to travel with, feel free to reply or PM me.

a couple of tour companies i know are:

Contiki - party tour bus. It was like this years ago

Eurobus - Buy a bus pass. I think it's more just transport than a tour so more independent but u could still meet other travellers on it.

I'm going to Prague at end of July but just for a week to visit a friend with a side trip to Berlin

My plans as it stands is a centre of civilizations tour, with Istanbul, Cairo, Athens and Rome. It's after Rome that I'm not sure what to do. I will likely have 10-14 days to play with.

Paris would likely be a must stop, to see family/friends, but traveling alone isn't my favourite thing to do, so I was hoping to find a tour or a travel buddy.
