Hey guys,

I m getting set to move out to Icheon (second year in rok, was in seongnam last time) just wondered if anyone had been there or are currently there.

Was curious as to the local hang outs what there is to do around there. Tried to google search but keeps coming up results for incheon ( a common mistake from the posts ive read on here)

From what ive been told its more rural than my last place alhough not far from my local haunts, but was curious as to what was going on in the local area. Any help would be great.

Also wondered if there were any good gyms around epecially the nearest MMA or BJJ places close by.(aware theres a big MMA thread but thought could kill two birds wth one stone on this post)

Anyway would appreciate any comments etc

I was there just last weekend. They have a large ceramics festival every year and my wife's a big fan; the place is famous for pottery (and rice). Also, I went to visit the birthplace of the Joseon general, Eo Jae-yeon (어재연) in Buraemimaeul, which is a rural part of Icheon. Very nice, scenic area.
