|
|
Dunno if it's well known, but Daum's map site added 'Street View' back in January. I always loved using this technology to see other parts of the world and now I can use it for Korea - at least in the greater Seoul area.
Check it out here: http://local.daum.net/map/
On the actual map, hit the 3rd button labeled '로드뷰' (RoadView) to enable the feature.
A KT article about it can be found here |

+1..looks to be the same thing to me. Click on a street, get a photo pan around, move in a direction, etc. |

I can zoom in on my house with Google Maps or Google Earth. My school's not even in quite the right place with Daum. |

Sounds like you're talking about satellite view. This is streetview. Can't comment on the location of your school. I zipped around my area, everything seemed okay. |

The only thing I don't like about it is when you're moving around, it advances at what seems inches. In google maps it might take 2 clicks to go past a city block, but with Daum it seems to take 20 clicks! ...kind of annoying. |
