| If you're anywhere near the CoEx Mall in the Gangnam area of Seoul, they sell a bunch of blue ray disks there in the music/dvd store near the Bandi & Luni Bookstore. I believe they might also sell them in the bookstore itself as well, although it would be a very small selection. |

My collection is over 120 at the moment. I have purchased/sold maybe another 50 on top of that.
The best place to buy -- bar none -- is at Techno Mart at Gangbyeon station on the green line. Sometimes you can find good prices on www.enuri.com as well. One store of the three or four in TM, which is located near a corner on one of the top 2 floors (excluding food court), sells a large selection. There are also at least 20 to 40 used discs at a discount. I try to buy everything used. Blu-rays rarely scratch, and not only do I save money buying used, I don't have to pull off all of that plastic protection tape! I also like that they tend to sell English-only import discs cheaper because Koreans often won't buy them. Fine by me!
There is a bigger store at the base of I-park mall in Yongsan, but his prices are so outrageous, I don't even bother shopping there. Same goes for that place in COEX. |
