I agree with Big bird, three teenagers dead is nothing to cheer. Freeing the hostage is something to cheer. I dont think many were cheering about the three dead but were cheering the relase of the brave captain. Strange but the most anti- American voices on this forum wanting the U.S. to do something to stop the illegal dumping and help the Somali's . You hate us till you need us!! I think there has been some actions by the U.N. and the U.S. to not only act against the pirates, but also the dumpers.

do some posters really believe that the sole motivation for the piracy is loss of fishing or being environmentalist? If you do than you are seriously naive.

Did you miss the subtitle of my prior post?

I was happy to see those pirates killed. You call them teens, I call them teenage thugs and criminals. I enjoyed hearing and reading about their deaths and wish more pirates dead, age is irrelevant here. I don't believe that any pirate really cares about anything more than collecting money. Activist pirates, bacasper is dreaming. They are illiterate animals. There isn't a single higher thought in their head.

C'mon, 3MB, don't hold back. Please let us know what you really think. Wink

Read de Sade much?

I'm dreaming? So just how do you know the thoughts in "their head" [sic]? Did you even read the article?

The article is worthless. Its written by a hippy pirate-sympathizer. Stop trying to see higher reason in an animal, bacasper. Wake up to reality. One of these days Im hoping the US or someone gets pissed off enough to just take out the villages where these pirates live. I read that something like 80% of Somalis sympathize with them, if thats true, I wouldnt weep for 80% of the collateral damage. Bomb the villages, bomb the ports.

What is your opinion of those who dump radioactive waste off Somalia's coast? And of those who violate their territorial waters and steal their fish, practically the only asset they have left after the US bombed them into oblivion in the 90's?

The reason the "pirates" enjoy 70% support is because they are viewed as the only ones trying to protect the country's marine assets from international plunder.

P.S. You repeat yourself a lot.

Wow. No sympathy, no empathy. If you've been directly affected by their actions maybe I could understand your feelings, but otherwise, that's pretty sick stuff.

You were being sarcastic right?

I was being honest. No sarcasm. How do you feel about Manson, Bundy? Empathy? Sympathy? Neither really did anything directly to you. Nor did that swirly face boy lover who worked here.

Rufus: Isn't it interesting that he has such strong opinions about these people, yet apparently none about the pending questions I have asked him:

3MB: If "age is irrelevant," why do you care so much about Ol' Swirly Face?

"Their international waters" doesnt make any sense as international waters are INTERNATIONAL waters and anyone is allowed to be there.

You are absolutely right. I should have said "their territorial waters." There, I fixed it. Now will you answer?
