I recently had a few of my classes changed and I find myself really missing my old classes. The two classes that I used to teach were full of great kids with great personalities and always provided me with a laugh. They're on Monday and Friday, last classes of the day and the kids on Monday always brightened my day and made me less upset about the upcoming week and the kids on Friday always put a smile on my face when I left for the weekend.

Do you ever find yourself missing certain classes?

Welcome to Korea where everything evolves around exams. By the time the exams are finished they will have field trips and even more classes will be canceled

I absolutely know what you are talking about. The class I just finished teaching a few minutes ago is my last class of the week and they are easily the coolest kids in the school. Not one sleeper, complainer or screamer among them. While they are not the highest scoring, I feel they have the most potential for getting the language and I know that after this term ends, they will get divided up by some arbitrary means and I'll never see them together again in the same class.

Well, what can you do?

I can think of a class that graduated two-and-a-half years ago - quite poassibly the best I've ever taught - that I still really miss. One of them's now a student teacher and I'm still in regular contact with her.
