Yup, just heard it myself.

He's in a Busan hospital after reportedly trying to kill himself.

Not sure if he's dead or not.

Looks like the shame was too much for him.

-How large and how violent will the protests be?
-Will LMB be blamed (even though his best bud is being investigated too)?

Yes, it looks like it is true. Already huge speculation on whether it was suicide or an accident.

So far:

1. He was hiking on the small mountain behind his house.

2. He fell off a cliff.

3. He was taken to a local hospital where they were unable to help him.

4. He was brought to Busan University Hospital where he died.

The police are claiming (on TV) that it was suicide, but in the absence of a note that seems almost impossible to prove.

They were talking about it on CNN a bit ago and they were being quite a bit more careful about whether it was an accident or suicide.

My gf just told me about this and at first I thought it was a joke. She said it's possible that someone may have pushed him

He is responsible for causing another man to commit suicide after humiliating him in defense of his criminal brother. Good riddance.

They should continue going after his family.
However violent they are, I hope the government deals with them sternly and harshly.

Heard on the news this morning that it was a suicide. A suicide caused by 'the pain he felt inside' after 'having taken too many bribes.'

Thing is, he shouldn't have felt a need to do that ultimate thing as no other previous president has attoned for his bribe-taking-sin. No took apparently about 6.40 mill USD equivalent. Yet that Roh Doo Hwan guy took a 100 times more than that.
