For those who have been wanting to see it but were told there are no english subtitles, this is apparently false. My korean friend was watching a news story about the movie and the people who were being interviewed were holding tickets to the movies, for some reason the camera zoomed in and the tickets had "English subtitles" (in korean) written on them.
So apparently there is a theatre somewhere showing it with english subtitles. The story unfortunately wasn't about the english subtitles so whatever theatre it was, wasn't covered.

Before the site redesign lotte cinema used to indicate if a movie had english subtitles.. so I'm not sure if they aren't showing it or the new site design doesn't show it.

I just found it on the CGV site.
Its playing at yongsan CGV with english subtitles.
8:45 am, 14:05, 19:30, 24:50 lots of seats left for tomorrow's shows..

There have been quite a few people on the forums talking about seeing this movie and it was announced a couple weeks ago that the theatres were saying there wouldn't be any english subtitles for it even though it was going to festivals, etc.

Apparently there are and for some reason its not getting shown in the official "English subtitle" theatres (the two Cinus ones) as they had said there would be no subtitles.

I was at Yongsan CGV several weeks ago and the box office teller told me Bakjwi didn't have English subtitles. Is this a recent change?

I have no idea when it got English subtitles, but my friend saw the news report with the people holding the tickets just a couple days ago, and the CGV website lists the movie as having English subtitles. So I'd go ahead and guess yes, I just don't know if it was this week, last week, etc.

the English subtitles have been on it for about a week. You should check out this site, they always list the subtitled films.
