how long have they been selling in Korea?

Just found it on the shelf at the supermarket and my eyes lit up. Christmas has come early this year.

Dam, that's got to be some good beer. I've never seen it, but when I wiki it, I read about the lost batches. 200 cans of the stolen brew ended up in a marijuana patch. Laughing

Where can I get some of this good Army and Navy Canadian brew? I'm only seeing Hoeggarden and Miller on my Family Mart shelf besides all that other stuff not worth drinking. The local grocers only carry Korean shite. Emart carries good German beer, but it's 5 1/2 hours round trip to get it with the chance of being out of stock as have happened.

You can buy it at Homeplus usually. There is even better Canadian beer just not in Korea. Sad

I'm coming to the conclusion that the only truly "good" beers in Korea are Samuel Adams, Erdinger Dark, and the Salvator Paulaner you find at Homeplus. Everything else is verrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy average or worse. Moosehead is average. It starts strong, but then it gets this really boring apple-y/malt-y taste.

To my knowledge, Moosehead is the only major brewery in Canada that is still Canadian owned. The rest have all been bought by foreigners.

What's wrong with the Leffe (brown and blond) or better yet, the Duvel you can find in Emart? 2-3 Duvels and it's lights out on a warm sunny day sitting on the rooftop.
