I'll just say what I think.
And I wonder why TEXAS keeps coming up regarding secession.
Whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, there's a revolution brewing in the not so United States of America.
Sure, we Texians would rather sit back and watch as it's unlikely to affect us in the long run anyway.

Oddly enough, I like Rachael. I even wrote her a fan mail last week or so, after she had Ron Paul on her show.
She was very cordial, receptive and respectful.
I did preface with: "I'm a huge fan, even though I'm a would-be DHS Certified Right Wing Extremist..."

I think the cemetery is actually on land the US government seized from Robert E. Lee.
Even though Jefferson Davis was the President of the Confederacy, he was also a distinguished combat veteran of the United States Army. |

Wow! It only took till page 2 for someone to actually respond to the specific issue in this thread.
Yes, Davis was--before he committed treason. Aaron Burr was also a distinguished officer and a VP before he killed Alexander Hamilton. Like the Greeks said, don't call anyone happy until they are dead.
I don't have a problem with sending a wreath to honor Confederate dead, especially as many served in the Union Army again after the war. It's the Jeff Davis thing that gets under my skin.
