Hey gang, the wife and I are heading to Busan next weekend for the first time, and need a place to stay Sat night. We've only been in SoKo for two months, and our only hotel experience has been here:

http://www.incheon-hotel.com/

We paid about 100k won for the night, and were really satisfied. I don't know much about hotels here except for that the quality can vary wildly, so I was hoping we could get a pretty respectable room for around 75k won. Any suggestions? It would be nice if the front desk had some level of English competency since our Korean is not so great.

I would stay in a love motel for less. Not the answer you were looking for...

I'm not necessarily opposed to a love motel, but from what I've read some are decent and others are definitely sketchy. If anyone has stayed in a decent one in Busan and can recommend it I would consider it. BTW, what does a night in a love motel usually run? Sans professional company, of course . . . Wink

get off at haeundai station, walk to save zone ( big red sign) go beach side right in front you see hotel paradiso not to be confused with the big hotel paradise.

its small and white and right in front of save zone- it nice and 40000 most most nights and 50 on saturday.

or syeonmeon station walk out front of lotte hotel main entrance cross over road and walk left 2 minutes -first love hotel is clean and 40000.

I know of one very near Busan Station. If you want info, PM me. I have stayed in it and it was fine.

That being said, the ones at Seomyeon or the beach will be much better areas for things to do. There really is not much to do around Busan Station.

Stay at the Paradise. It's by far one of the best hotels on the beach, and it's got a casino as well. I've stayed there twice - it's great. Sea views are 100k extra I think, but city views are only about 200k a night.

Heated pool on a huge deck, and hot tubs with different temps just a few hundred feet from the ocean. Can't beat it in terms of quality and service.

200 bucks a night? Wow you must be on a decent salary. How about stay in a 50 dollar nice place and have 150 left to gamble at the paradise.
