So popped into the local hospital today because one of my ears got a bit blocked (I swim a lot). Doc has a look and then shows me on a BIG screen moved right in front of my face the wax blocking my ear in gory multi-colour I almost scream, feel sick and tell him it looks gross and I'd prefer not to watch.
... so during the 5 minute procedure he keeps the screen on in front of me, telling me once that my wax blocked his tube (laughs ) and proceeds to explain the procedure while encouraging me to watch every detail of what he's doing. I felt so sick I couldn't eat lunch afterwards and went shopping instead.
Anyone else had any procedures here they'd never see (nor want to see) in close-up back home? Feel free to share! Can't wait to tell my parents |

Watching the nurse go after my daughter with the same Ear temperature Thermometer that I had just watched her stick in the ears of 20 other kids......all with the same disposable cover.
Yeah, we were the first check on the new cover. |

My gyno decided to put me up on jumbovision. It was not cool. I asked him to take me off and he was kind enough to turn it away from me slightly. |
