"we Koreans stick together". Ummmmm, the last time I checked your country was split in 2. and both sides hate one another.

That is very true. Koreans stick so close together that they marry their own brothers and sisters. I apologize for my former comment, it is not entirely correct.

I don't really see anything too bad about this video. While I haven't exactly done this, I have called in another foreign teacher when one of my students unwittingly said something obscene or hilarious.

As far as acting professionally, I think in some cases you should, but in others there's really no point. I don't think you should take out your frustrations on the students, but if you're getting screwed by a hagwon or any other private institution, I see no problem with not teaching to the best of your ability. If it's bad enough to make students quit, then at least your employer loses some business.

When you're humpin' it in the hogwans, that's what happens.

Some of it's kind a funny, actually.

A parody of 95% of the EFL'ers here.

I have no problem with the teaching style. I don't think anyone hasn't conducted a halfassed lesson or made a couple of jokes to themselves while teaching.

I just have a bit of a problem with faking a degree. I worked hard and amassed debt to finish school. Now, I have to take crap from Korean Immigration because a few people decided to bypass getting a degree.

Where do you think he got the idea of the AIDS rhetoric? From the stereotypes of Koreans. Stereotypes that are perpetuated by Korean media no less.

How does this idiot get to post/blog about AIDS and you turn it around and blame the Koreans. This guy was an ESL teacher was he not? You are just as thick and foolish as he is. Clown. You wonder why people like you and most ESL teachers are hated. Fool

I was wondering if you have shown the people at Baekseok University this blog yet? I was hoping that the right people would have a look, and see what their opinion is on the matter, and what steps they took. Ive noticed to that the blog now falls into the top 10 of google, when "Baekseok University" Is typed in.

Semester starts today. I have class on Wednesday. I'll try to arrange a meeting with some people and show them what a first class professional they'd hired.

I'll get back to you.

How did that go then? Laughing
