I'm currently writing an article for a class and I'm trying to find some hard data on E2 salaries since the 90s as well as the number of visas issued. I'm trying to determine any trends in the number of teachers coming here.
If you don't have salary data, I'm also looking for a couple of opinions, and I know this board is a good place for opinions.
Does anything think that China is the new Korea? Why or why not? I've noticed salaries there are rising, and while they're not quite at parity with Korea, they're catching up.
Before you came to Korea, what were your perceptions of China and Korea; for example, if salaries were equal would you have chosen China or Korea?
