I want to switch my LG prepay to a contract phone. . I have a tight schedule so I can't get a hanguk saram to go with me. I've heard the Hongdae branch speaks the English, wondering if anybody knows of other branches near Itaewon or downtown that can set it up? Thanks.

If you call LG's customer service number they should be able to help you. And they speak great English. I've never been on a prepay phone but I have been able to change payment plans over the phone.

And even if they can't do it over the phone, if you call them when you are at any LG place, they will help translate for you. They can also send you the different plans (in English) to your email account.

there's one in Myeong-dong who has a fluent person that "works" there. I kinda stumbled upon it one day so I'm not sure where it is. He's really helpful though, even if the rest of the people there aren't.

The first guy that tried to help me couldn't understand why I wanted a phone that only worked in Korea. "Phone no work in USA" was the response I kept getting
