For those who have Skylife TV, are you satisfied? I'm thinking of switching from digital cable to Skylife because of Star Sports in English, AXN and BBC Entertainment, plus Skylife plans to have a combined 45 HD channels by year's end. |

I'm satisfied. It's sure better than the other TV providers.
I don't know another provider who does all the following in their basic package;
Discovery
Star Sports (a bit crap actually, but at least it's English)
BBC World
BBC Entertainment (only really shows older or 'B' list shows)
CNN
MBC-ESPN (all your Premier League)
...........and a smattering of other English lang. channels.
The only thing missing for me would be National Geographic and History Channel fully in English. They are only in English sometimes. |

I have a techie question about Skylife.
I have s Skylife box connected to a 720p set using component cables. However, the box only outputs in 480i so the picture looks really grainy and pixelated. How do I change the output to 720p? |

Looks like Skylife has the exclusive channels Star Sports (SE Asia feed); AXN Korea; BBC Entertainment Korea; and Animal Planet. |

I don't think you can with an SD (standard definition) box. You'll need to get them to swap you SD box for an HD box. They're available. I don't the costs involved in upgrading. |

What does it cost you per month for this package? |

Check out the various packages on Skylife's English website.
http://www.skylife.co.kr/eng/index.jsp
The package I got was 35,000 pm. But that was with a 3 year contract. The price of SD set-top box and dish was included every month. After 3 years we own the dish. That contract is up for us in December. We'll be selling our box and dish then. We don't want Skylife any more because we're now also paying for LGpowercomm. |

Very dissatisfied with Sky TV after I saw Hana TV. Hana has video on demand and more English-e channels.
Sky English channels replay the same episodes of 24, NCIS, CSI: Las Vegas and Alias over and over and over and over and over and over and, of course, LOST.
The main highlight for me is Discovery. The History Channel is NOT in English-e |

Diddley. As in no English channels at all. But it's cheap, only 36,000 pm for wireless phone, 100mb internet line, wi-fi, and 1080i TV channels. I never watch the living room TV. I just use my computer. The LGpowercomm is basically for wife and MIL. |

We have Sky and our History Channel is in English. There are two. One is a regular channel in the 400's and the other is History HD. History HD is great and it's all in English. |
