Quizno's: One behind City Hall, one in Itaewon.

Subway: One next to the Jongno YMCA (near Insa-dong); one in Itaewon near Outback.

Au bon Pain: One across the grass from City Hall, one in Jongno across the street from the YMCA.

All of the above are ok. If you can make to Itaewon and can spend a bit more cash, go to La Bocca for a good selection of very good Italian sandwiches. They've got the best ones in Seoul.

Does anyone know some sandwich joint on the same side of the street as the Hamilton Hotel, maybe a hundred yards past it (towards Haebinchon)? It has good or good-looking Italian hero (sub? hoagie?) style sandwiches for good prices.

Anyone been there? It's a small cafe type place.

There is a decent deli place below Gecko's. It's to the left you can't miss it. The guy makes most of the salami, ham, mortadella etc on premises.

Chef Melei is a rip-off. If you want a good sandwich go to La Bocca. The sandwiches and the dining atmosphere are better than Melei.
