Anyone bank at CitiBank? Just wondering what kind of service they have.
Also, can you get an overseas account, easily?
Transfers, credit cards etc.... Just wondering if in Korea, they have restrictions for us non-nationals. Thanks in advance.

I have a Citibank account in the UK, but the Korean branches are like a regular Korean bank:No relationship to banks in other countries.
Hope to get a Citibank credit card this week, as they offer a 'priority pass' card allowing entry to airport lounges for 20ooo 원. |

Got screwed by my local credit union when I moved over seas so I empowered myself and aggressively shopped for a bank back in the states that had the best services and support. Winner : Citibank. By far the best customer service and, paired with a Nonghyup account here, transfers are no prob. Got a Citi credit card to pair with the checking, paying bills with just a few clicks. If you have a permanent address back home and a liaison to mail you the cards when they arrive it should be easy. |
