Hey everyone, like the subject says, selling a 16 gig Ipod Touch.

It is 1g so it has been jailbroken, and comes with a slew of applications and games already on it, which I can remove or leave on, up to the consumers discretion.

My friend has recently bought an 8 gig for 330 new at Yongsan, so I think the same price for a 16 gig is not a bad idea.

mp3 player?

LOL.. ipod touch is not the same as the IPOD ... it plays video, and has wifi, it isnt simply an "mp3 player"

but its cool, not all of us are tech savy.

like i said a new one at yongsan costs over 300 for an 8 gig,

this is 16!

i've have it for 3 months.

the screen doesn't have any scratches. It's got a lot of apps/games from the ipod store

I'm interested, only I don't want to make an offer as you'd probably laugh at it. Unfortunately, I've a wedding to save and pay for in Sept and understandably, there's isn't much money in the old piggy for luxuries such as this despite the fact that I do need a new player. My 4-year old Sony really is on it's last legs, but still works. Just.

To that end, I'll sit on the sidelines and watch for now. I'm sure you'll get in or around what your asking for it. If however, it remains unsold by around the 17th (payday) then I'll make you an offer.

no problem, I understand the reason why people come onto this forum is to hopefully get a good deal, not just to splurge at the first asking price.

congrats on the wedding btw. and to re iterate, this product is going to the highest bidder, and currently there are none.

My timeframe is to sell the ipod hopefully within the next 7 days, but who knows how that will turn out.

You realize 2G is out now? You want to sell a 1G for the price a used 2G would go for?
I'm gonna go over to japan tomorrow and pick up a 32GB 2G for 490,000W.

2g is not as stable with the jailbreak hack especially on vista, i ALSO have a 2g and you have to do a system restore occasionally with the unteathered jailbreak, and I dont mind the volume control which isnt a problem, one is onscreen and one is on the side, but if u have headphones like mine u can control the volume with the controller which is on the headphone cord.

You mentioned 'applications and games' in your OP. As I'm pretty clueless about Ipods in general, could you give me some idea as to what other bells and whistles Ipods generally do.

Also, what's the software like with Ipods? I've been using Sony's Sonicstage, which is a bit crap tbh.

applications are little programs for your Ipod provided through Itunes. For example there is a Facebook Poker application which gives you 390,000 fake chips with the purchase of the application for like 49.99 off of itunes, with the jailbroken ipod, all of the apps from itunes can be downloaded for free and loaded onto the Ipod. There is a Subway map for Korea which is very useful you can zoom in, and the languages can be changed. There is a weather application and it updated automatically if you are in wifi range, so for example at my house i have wifi so when I hit the weather application it shows me the forecast for today and for the rest of the week. It is kind of like widgets on vista.

Also when its jailbroken you can use a program which connects to your ipod and allows u to transfer files to and from the ipod. For example there is a Beat Maker program you can put additional drum kits on the ipod or export .wav files from the ipod of songs you have made.

Ipods won't sync on multiple computers so its crucial to use a program to unload all of your files if you need to sync it with a different computer so you dont lose your files
