I really don't think it is rude for the guy to walk in front of the girl...I think it is his way of protecting her. If a car speeds by, he will get hit first, thereby protecting his girl. I have seen a Korean wife walking in front of her husband. That was strange. Guess she was angry or something. I have had a Korean guy walk in front of me and the same guy walked beside me another night.^^ |

kiwiboy, I was reading "Flaws in the Glass" by Patrick White, and he says that women in Austaria are stronger than Aussie men.
Given the peeps representing on Dave's I believe it. |

Depends how you define strong of course. Mentally I'd say they would have no problem showing up their autralian brothers ... I mean, look at camel. |

I once read in uni that according to some study the infidelity rate for men (in a western country, probably US but not sure) is about 50%. This rate counts the percentage of married men that are unfaithful at least once at one point in the marriage. This is obviously something that can't be measured accurately with any certainty - call me cynical, but I think it's too low (for marriages that last a while, 10 yrs at least lets say).
The dude in Kiwiboy's story was obviously just throwing out a number in conversation without thinking about it too much, but if we take it to mean men that have cheated at least once, with hookers or otherwise, it's still too high but I think we might be surprised at how close it is. Even taking the pros out of the equation, the number is probably still pretty damn high. |

if my husband were in the situation described in the op, i would be angry about the money he's blowing, not his infidelity. |

Obviously the 95% includes all the Korean mothers who live with their sons and "get down on it". |

I'm buried under seven feet of snow in Toronto. I'll be back in a couple weeks or so, I already can't wait. |

Intriguing, why would you not feel angry about the infidelity it's self?

It really doesn't. There are places to ski somewhat north of the city but they suck. So to answer your question kiwiboy, no. But I did spend last weekend in Miami so it hasn't been all bad. |

if a marriage is open the answer is obvious. if a marriage is traditionally monogamous (as mine is presumed to be), it's his deception and his own to reconcile.
additionally, it takes a certain mentality of person to be sexually aroused in a situation where they are essentially bribing their partner (someone presumably more attractive than they). this type person is most unappealing to me and thus not characteristic of my husband.
