Has anyone tried this? My visa expires at then end of June but I want to do some summer camps. I would prefer not to do a visa run for a C4 but don't know if they even do transfers from E2 to C4. Also, is a C4 tied to one camp? Because I was thinking of doing several since some are only a week. Do I have to go to immigration and add each one onto my visa? |

if you want a c4 you will have to do a visa run. if you want to work a temp. job like a camp then you will have to get written permission from your current employer. |

Immigration does not give you the visa...another Korean consulate gives it to you outside of the country and the visa is for one camp. Make sure that the E-2 is cancelled on your visa prior to leaving Korea at the airport and turn in the ARC. |

So I can't transfer my current E2 visa to a C4 before it expires? If I work two or three camps, do I have to get a C4 for each or just add extra camps onto the first one? |

No. Immi in Korea gives you the visa confirm number for the E-2 and a Korean consulate gives you the actual visa;
C-4 has no confirm number...contract, photo, and the visa fee is given to a Korean consulate Outside of Korea. Two separate entities.
The C-4 is for a specific contract..specific camp. perhaps you could take all the contracts with you to Fukuoka or wherever you are going..BETTER yet..call the Korean consulate.
