I'm curious to know what sorts of things people are putting in their ever-growing teaching portfolios. Teaching certificates, awards, etc?
As a public school teacher, I'm putting in my GEPIK demo lesson plans, workbooks I've made for my students, TEFL certificates, and other things.
Any experience shared or advice given would be helpful to me. I've been teaching for just over two years at my high school in Gyeonggi-do. |

| What you're doing can't hurt, but I don't see how it can help. If you're going to apply for another PS position in K-land, the 'powers that be' will never look at a portfolio - all they want are letters of reference (preferably in Korean). |

Seems the OP is looking for more than another of what he already has.
Portfolio building is a smart move. Be selective about what you include; make it the best of your work. Also, make sure it is all your work.
If you are looking for a uni position down the road, a solid portfolio is a must have. |

Nah, just kidding. For the moment, I have not much. I got an awesome letter from one of the PS teachers I work with, and I have the certificate of employment from them. I will get an awesome letter from my current job, and a certificate from them. I will also have a cell number for them to call my boss, as he loves me!
My M.Ed assignments will all be collated into a book when I am finished. That will be presented as a portfolio should I ever plan to work in a uni, but chances are I would never go down that route. I have bigger plans for my family  |
