There are a lot of Powerpoint templates for Jeopardy games out there, but the majority I've seen are pretty junky. For Apple Keynote, the field is even narrower, making it difficult to find a Jeopardy template at all.

I put together what I think is a pretty good ESL Jeopardy template, using real Jeopardy-like colors, and a slightly more intuitive navigation scheme (see the game board, click on $ value, view the question, click anywhere for the answer, click anywhere to go back to the game board, repeat).

You can see some previews & download the template for either Apple Keynote or MS Powerpoint here.

This version supports 5 categories of 5 questions each. I've found that that's the right number for one or two classes with my high school students, but your mileage may vary. Each question slide has the $ value of the question watermarked in the bottom-right corner to help you remember how many points to give when the students answer correctly.

Note: Simon & Martina's version of this is awesome & well crafted, but unfortunately I found it just after finishing my own. Plus their design (really beautiful) is a bit different from what I went for.

http://www.superteachertools.com/jeopardy/

I prefer to use this version myself. They have it for both mac and pc and you make your own questions/answers and it saves it into a .txt which you can easily edit if you do a typo etc.

I never liked the way the PowerPoint ones worked out myself.

Great thread and though a high level, nice template Korussian!

I've made a number of templates, go to Resources and Power Point Games to get them, or on the Games page (at the bottom) under the PLAY tab.

Here's the latest template I'm using... http://eflclassroom.ning.com/simpsons/simpsons.swf

Lots more flash based ones like this , as well as powerpoint available...

Thanks for sharing,

DD
