Do you think they will be sold out or could I just buy them at the gate?

BTW, it's a mellow crowd at these games. The Koreans are loud, at times, but, hey- it's soccer- so the games aren't super exciting. Bring a camera and take some pics of yourself at a game. Your co-workers and students will be shocked ( Laughing ) to see you at one of these games. I'm the only person I've met in Korea who's attended one of these games, and that includes Korean co-workers and students.

Oh, and there are restaurants, including a huge food court, in the stadium (outside, but part of the stadium structure). They do get VERY crowded after 6 pm the night of a game.

And I'll say it again... 3k tall boy cans of Hite and Cass! LOL...

No, please don't do that. Just watch the damn game!! Or if you really must, do it somewhere well away from where I'm sitting, especially if you're going to constantly ask stupid questions about the rules, like "so how many points is it for a goal then?". Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil Mad

Better yet, wear a soccer jersey from your favorite English Premier League team and constatly complain about everything? No! Have a good time with it!

Dude, mellow out- it's just soccer. At some point, they'll practice their "back-field to mid-field passing" for 10 minutes at a time. They'll go 20-30 minutes without a shot and when anyone does get close to scoring, they will miss open goals. That's what happens with soccer, especially the Korean team. They've taken missing open goals and made it into an art form over the past few years.

Just enjoy yourself and enjoy the game.

Can you take beer into the stadiums? I used to take 6-packs into K-League games to pass the time and no-one batted an eyelid.

Incidentally, the only "mascot" I ever saw was Sojuman. Sure gets around! (The "sojuchicks" are quite surly by contrast...

Relax, I wasn't being entirely serious. Although I was a little amused by your apparent assumption that anyone asking for ticket information would share your fairly limited level interest in the actual game. Quite an odd assumption to make about what is, after all, the most popular sport in the world by a considerable distance.

But, yeah, absolutely each to their own and I hope you do enjoy it all yourself too.........which you won't if you block my view with your picture-taking Wink

I wouldn't mind watching a footie game in KR but I know I'll come across north americans who think they are "awesome" because they are watching SK play. you/they don't realise you are a ... I can't use the word on here im sorry Very Happy

when i was in seoul last summer, there was a warm up game for the olympics between SK - english rejects (australia) and I was dragged to a canadian bar by this well canadian guy who was staying in the same guesthouse as me, i think it was called rocky mountain tavern? in hong-ik well i'm not going to lie to you, it sucked, they wouldn't allow me to play darts yet they let the korean "gangsta's" play it. anyway whilst sitting down sipping on my weak cass, these north americans came in and noticed i was wearing a spanish football jersey and they said " oh so you watched the game too huh?" I replied, "haha no, because it was probably full of people like you who know nothing about the sport" I then asked him to name me any 10 football club teams from around the world, and suprise suprise he could only manage to name 3, which were manchester united (who everyone bloody knows), chelsea and barcelona... he didn't even know the names of any korean teams which is odd since the stadium where he went to watch the warm up match has "FC SEOUL" plastered all over it..

oh sorry I did another rant. i can't help myself, sorry, check out taff wars on youtube Wink
