| I know about www.nicedeli.com, but they're based in Busan. Is there any place in Seoul that sells good deli meats--particularly, I'd love to fine razor thin sliced turkey. |

The Hannam Supermarket has some deli meats. I haven't bought anything there so I can't testify to their stock.
If you feel like a trip to Bundang you could go to John Cook. It's between Jeongja and Sunae station in the Pavilion Apartment building across the street from Dunkin Donuts. They have turkey.
Chef Meili sells deli meats. He's located behind Gecko's in Itaewon. He's expensive and a jerk. I suggest avoiding him. |

Seconded. I'll never go back to that place again. If you want a good sub sandwich, save your money and go to Quizno's. |

Yeah, I had an expensive salami sandwich there once, and his selection is terrible.
My sister-in-law lives in Bundang, so maybe that's an option. I'd like something closer, though. Excuse my ignorance, but where is Hannam Supermarket? |

| Hannam Supermarket: If you're in Itaewon, head towards Hangangin subway station and take a right at the big intersection, cross the huge footbridge to the other side of the street (you will now be on the same side as the Harley dealership. Look for the yellow sign that reads "Hannam Supermarket" between the Harley dealership and Dangook University entrance. |

| Thirding the Hannam Market. I was there yesterday, bought some Gruyere and some beef pastrami. If I lived any closer I'd be blowing my salary on his stuff daily. |

| I've only bought the turkey from John Cook. I don't recall what else they have; however, their selection isn't exactly extensive. But after months of the water-logged ham from the Korean marts the turkey is a welcome change. |

I bought a pastrami sandwich which was around 5 inches long, one slice of meat, some tasteless cheese, and nothing came with it (chips, pickles). When I complained about it the jerk said "Well, you don't have to come back." I told him "I sure as hell won't and I'll be sure to tell others about his store."
The food is crap, the service is crap, the owner is crap. |

| The Hannam Supermarket is riduculously overpriced, especially given that 90% of the stuff in there is either freely available in a normal supermarket for half the price, or has come straight from Costco and had a 200% markup added. I feel a little bit used every time I come out with a significantly lighter wallet. |

Buying things from Costco and marking it up at insane prices seems to be the norm with a lot of foreign food stores/bakeries. I saw the same identical Costco stuff at Wood and Brick in Gwanhwamun for 150% of the original price. |
