It's right by Seohyeon Station in Bundang, and it's about half a year old. I went there for a trial lesson the other day, but unfortunately they don't have any advanced classes open yet. So I'm spreading the word, and hopefully with interest some will open soon.
Very small classes for beginner and intermediate students. Check it out. |

The classes are cheap and there are only a couple of students in each class, but I can't recommend going there. The teacher I had LOVED to talk and talk and talk. My listening skills improved, but there aren't a lot of opportunities to speak. I was in the intermediate class but our teacher was giving us articles from a regular Korean newspaper and asking us to translate them for homework |

I went there . . . once. The husband was a nice enough guy, but I didn't care for the way his wife taught the lesson. She'd just talked nonstop in Korean, and her speaking was really fast, too. Meanwhile, the two other guys in the class and I just looked at each other with confused faces.
I took my required two years of a foreign language in college, and the lessons were always in English. It wasn't until after about four semesters worth of classes that the professors gave the lessons in a foreign language. Well, now I know how my students feel, at least. |

I just studied there intensively for past 3 months and learned a lot. It worked really well for me. The husband speaks excellent English and has a very strong understanding of both languages, and the wife is great for listening practice. The classes were small and tailored to the students in the class, for the most part.
I think compared to other friends that have done intensive courses at universities, the Korean I learned is more practical. It was also great to get good explanations of the grammar rules in English. |

Strange, when I was taught French at school all the lessons were 100% French, the teacher rarely spoke English. |
