believe it or not, heres a home remedy for arm pit odor/feet odor. It really does work. it doesn't stop the sweating, but it works pretty good getting the odor out.

After showering, pour a little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar on some cotton wipes. Wipe thoroughly under your arm pits, it will smell of vinegar for a few minutes, but the vinegar smell does go away within 2-3 minutes. As I mentioned, it doesn't stop the sweating, but it helps get rid of BO.
The humid months will be here soon, so if you have been here awhile, you may have experienced that no matter how many times you wash your clothes, the odor is still somewhat lingering! You can spray some vinegar, diluted with a little laundry detergent and water on the arm pit area of your clothing. Soak for about 10 minutes, then wash in your washing machine and your 'hard to get rid of staining and lingering odor will be gone"! If you have never tried this method and you have "build up" you may need to do it twice. If you need further info, yes, google is your friend. Hope this simple remedy helps everyone have a "fresh clean summer". Oh yeah, white vinegar is ok too..

yes, you can buy vinegar at any emart or grocery store. just go to the aisle where all the soy sauce and stuff is at. You will see a yellow labled bottle that says:2배사과식초 It also is in English undet the Korean title as" Double strength apple vinegar. It has a picture of an apple of the bottle too. I have only seen the gallon bottle of white vinegar, by Heinz at Costco. Remember, you will still have to use your regular deodorant if you want to stay dry.
If you want to get odor out from your clothing or shoes, just fill up the washer with water add a cup of vinegar and soak articles for 10 minutes. Do your regualr wash cycle and WALLA~ frrrrresh smelling clothes. I have been experimenting with this remedy since April of 09., and so far, 2 thumbs up!
It also suggested that a teaspoon of vinegar a day could help with weight loss and cleaning out your liver? I haven't tried it yet, but I could use a good liver cleaning after all the soju through the years.. Very Happy

ACV is an excellent deodorant. I put a 50/50 (water + ACV) into a small spray bottle and use it as a deodorant. As another poster mentioned you can spray it in shoes or garbage cans or whatever, because it kills bacteria and smell. One cup of white vinegar in every load of wash will also kill bacteria on the clothes and restore colors bright again. Also, you can use the 50/50 solution for mouthwash as it will work as good as any store bought mw.

I noticed my sweat stopped resulting in BO if I discreetly wiped under my arms with tissue of hankerchief. Two or three times a day is not a big deal to do, perhaps on a visit to the bathroom.

I noticed a HUGE difference when I stopped most milk products in my diet.
When I would be out and it's so hot that you just have to get sweaty, the smell of BO would quickly follow. Not these days though and I'm not afraid of sweating, as my sweat has NO smell. I have always used a 24Hr antiperspirant with odour-neutralising properties, which helps too.

Cut milk consumption to reduce production of BO, also trimming but not shaving under arm hair is a good idea: More deodorant comes in contact with the skin, than when your arms have too much growth.

wow. im a big guy and i sweat sure, u know how i keep the BO at bay?

take at least 2 showers a day (this should be the norm for everyone) use a quality shampoo and bodywash.

wash ur clothes after one use. some people like to wear their jeans 2 or 3 times before washing... wrong. once and thats it. same goes for shirts (as if u should be told that) and dont wear thick white tube socks!

use deoderant and a body spray (not cologne) for girls, sorry, cant help u there, dont know what kind of stuff u have.

brush 3 times a day, floss at least twice, and rince with the green listerine (not that korean brand or the orange or blue stuff, its basically pointless... u gotta get the green so it feels like ur gums r on fire from the mint, yeah baby!)

occasionally mist ur shirts and jeans with f'breaze. inside the shoes too.

come on people, we dont need to be rubbing ourselves down with some vinegar concoction. basic hygene and sense of cleanliness can do the job. i know what i do works because i have a super sensitive sense of smell and am ubber paranoid about smelling bad. its one of my worst fears actually to stink in public. i cant stand the thought of it. and my girlfriends have always enjoyed sniffing my shirt and then snuggeling their face against it, so i must be doing something right.

also, dont drown urself in the body spray, it can have a negative effect. couple good sprays on ur body after a shower, then one or two quick spirts on ur neck after u get dressed.

and when u wash ur clothes, use 2x or 3x as much detergent as normal and a pleasent smelling fabric softener every time. yes, it will make ur clothes fade faster and maybe fall apart sooner (and by sooner, i mean after a year or more) but u shouldnt be wearing the same clothes for years on end anyways. thats for lazy bums still in college. we're all adults here, buy nice clothes and keep ur wardrobe updated.

i also wear customed made silk shirts and silk has a very noticable smell, so if u want to know how i keep them smelling fresh let me know.

you seem rich..

but 2x/3x as much detergent?? you're gonna have detergent left over on your clothes and they're going to have a build up (on your clothes and in your washing machine)

rich? far from it, haha. u just need to know where and how to spend ur money to get the most bang for ur buck. food, clothes, cleanliness, and hygiene r certainly some of the most important areas.

not as much build up as u'd think, unless u packed ur washer to the rim. generally i do what would normally be considered a half a load at a time. something about just cramming tons of clothes in a single load doesnt feel right to me. perhaps thats the key, to not stuff ur washer and leave lots of space for clothes to swish around in. and once they finish dont leave them sitting in the wash, they will mildew, as soon as mine beeps im there to get them out and into the air (this also helps these tiny teacher apartments smell nice) some people throw a load in and want to hang it the next morning or after work. no way. clothes will sour in less than 30 mintues if left just sitting in the washer.

also f'breaze and spray strong smelling wrinkle releaser on after ur iron shirts. leave them hanging out of the closet over night and its amazing how well they smell.
