Cheers folks, thats more like it.

Toby: Do you mean Bupyong? If not, where the hell is Pupyong?

Yaya: Where is Haebangchon?

Excuse my lack of geographical awareness re: suburbs of seoul, but the whole point of this post is so me and the lads can get out and see a few different places.

Bupyong/Pupyong. One and the same.

Haebongcheon is very near Itaewon. It runs up the side of the base and behind the base. A lot of foreigners living there.

Nana Bar in Itaewon is class..best music I have heard anywhere in Korea..
dub/ska/old school hip-hop/drum and bass/ambient..top notch vibe in there too...
Also like J Bar on Tuesday nights, DJ Rosa plays quality ambient and all sorts of stuff..nice atmosphere and the pool table is always empty..

Hollywood Basement closed over a year ago, Hollywood Grill upstairs does not discriminate against Koreans, just G.I's..
Anyone here ever go to Halloween right near Bucheon station? Used to be packed with foreigners in the summer of 2002..have not been there in over a year now though...

Haebangchon is just down the street from Itaewon. The best way to get there is to get off Noksapyung station and then head towards Yongsan Garrison (I forgot the garrison number). Then go up towards the alley until you see a 7-11 and Phillies is right by there. The owner's name is Frank (former GI) and he's a really nice guy.

The number there is (02) 795-7227 or click here:
