I know of 2 girls that have been here teaching ILLEGALLY for a bit now and im sick of them. who do I call and what do I say to blow the whistle on them?

Get the number for your local immigration office, call up and ask for an English speaker, and tell them the story. "Hi, there are 2 illegal English teachers at Babo English Acadamy, I believe their names are Eric Shin and Mike Hunt, please would you investigate". And then your deed is done. |

| I realize that some annoying people are, in fact, REALLY annoying, but I'm gonna have to side with bundang on this one. Unless they are somehow hurting you financially or somehow making your life much more difficult up at work, it's not your place to play policeman. But hey, your call. I belive in kharma, though. |

well if they really are GIRLS they MUST be illegal since a GIRL is someone who has not even had her PERIOD yet -
however, if by perhaps they are WOMEN, probably one (or both no doubt) turned the OP down for a date - or worse yet - wouldn't even acknowledge his presence, laugh at his probably asinine remarks (considering the post already on record) or some other such grave injustice which set off a malicious streak of get them now or else -
yeah, karma is a beetch, or so I've heard, but don't let that scare ya' off   |

For me, I can't respond unless I have more info.
If someone has all the paperwork/qualifications/etc, and they're just working an extra job (i.e. working a couple of hours in the morning at a kindie school or something), then I don't have a problem with it. My last school constantly hired people like that. It was no big deal.
But I do have a problem with the people who don't have the right qualifications. There was a guy who worked at my last school for a bit. He didn't have a four-year degree. He was just visiting some friends in Korea for a couple of months and decided to work a few jobs. I didn't report him because he was a really cool guy. I doubt that I would have reported him even if I didn't like him, though.
So tell us about these two women? Are they down-right b!tchy? Rude? Crass? Back-stabbing? Give us the scoop, please. |

| What's the deal with everyone not wanting to report illegal activity? This activity is what keeps the salaries of legit jobs down. You can preach Karma all you want, but IMO Karma will side with the person who is following the law, not breaking it. |

They are hurting every legal teacher.
They are reducing in so many ways the rights of the teachers working legally. Not to mention their pay ... |
