| Everything came in yesterday. 2 m403 ecigs, 35 preloaded cartridges and 4 bottles of e liquid (30ml each). I guess it wasn't a problem at customs. when I put one good drop of the TW e liquid in a cartridge it feels like smoking a regular cigarette. I'm pretty sure I have enough e liquid and carts to last me the rest of the year if I'm good.....time will tell. All together I spent just under 400$ US on E cigs and liquid. It all depends on how much you smoke and the price of cigarettes where you live to decide how much you will save. Cigarettes are cheap in Korea and people give them to you for free so I really don't think I'm saving that much money here. I'm feeling pretty good though. This morning for the first time in ages I didn't hack up a lung. I'm vaping in my classroom right now as I type this. I'm kinda new to this so maybe you can find more info on the internet. hope this helps though. |

Updates as you go please Na La Ri,
I'm from the UK but where did you purchase it from? When I looked into it, it didn't seem shipping was too expensive so maybe I'll give it a try with a smaller package.
Also, you're obviously not using it to give up, but I'm wondering (after you've used it a while) whether you think it could help. I get the feeling that I'd just be sucking on it all day though.... |

| Has anybody used this stuff and actually quit? I've been smoking way way too long and I want to quit too. How much does this thing cost in US, Canada or Korea for a typical one month supply? Location would be great too |

| ok i am now a proud owner of the e cigarette. i just purchased it in Yatap yuk in bundang. its exit 4 behind the huge homeever building. its in an office tel building called the leaders building. first floor room 107. just enter the building make a right and its on the left side. theyll be some displays there. the ecigarette is pretty cool. you smoke it like a real cig you just have to drag it long and slow. and actual smoke comes out of your mouth. most importantly it actually hits you like a real smoke. the taste however is very similar to hookah but ill get use to it. the total cost with the cig, extra battery, charger, box of filters (thats where the nicotine is in) and a bottle of nicotine (to refil the filter if you dont want to throw it away) was 150,000. the batteries last 6 months and the vaporizor lasts a year. i feel like i can actually quit using this because unlike the patch or gun you actually inhailing and exhailing something that is very similar to an actual smoke. well worth the 150,000. if you have any questions pm me and ill be happy to answer anyting to the best of my knowledge. ive been a smoker for 14 years 1 to 2 packs a day. im hoping to end taht. |

| oh and to answer the top persons question. each filter is disposable they are equivalent to 1/2 a pack of cigs. cost is 1,200 won per filter or box of 30 for 32,000. or you can reuse the filters by buying a bottle of nicotine. two drops on the filter and 2 drops on the vaporizor and its 1/2 a pack. the nicotine will save u much more money as its like 20 per bottle and the bottle will probably last a long ass time. |

TaeSoo what kind of e cig did you get? It seems you went to a different office than the one I went to. I live in Bundang too.
RufusW - this is the site I ordered my E liquid :
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/index.asp
shipping was 9.95UKpounds. It took 1 week to arrive.
I bought the Ruyan v8 (penstyle) in Yatap and I ordered the m403s (normal cigarette style) on a korean website using my friends credit card. It took 2 days. |

| Thanks for starting this thread. I had no idea something like this even existed. After doing quite a bit of research, I found e-cigarette-forum.com to be really helpful for product reviews, I ordered my stuff from the Chinese manufacturer bestecig.com. I should be receiving, the 901 model e-cig, an extra battery and atomizer, carrying case, 4 packs of cartridges(filters 5 in each pack), and a 10ml bottle of liquid nicotine for around $60 plus $13 for shipping. I'll let you know how it goes. By the way, does anyone know if there are places to buy e-cigs closer central Seoul than Bundang? |

Hi Guys,
I ordered a DSE901-B starter kit (considered one of the industry's best e-cig) from a whole sale supplier for $24.95 [5 cartridges, one atomizer, two batteries, charger, English manual]
I also ordered a pack of extra cartridges (Menthol, medium strength - 14ml nicotine/cartridge x 50 cartridges) for $29.90
Shipping: $20 (all US prices)
The order has not arrived yet but I don't think I've seen cheaper prices for them. They're all original Ruyan e-cigarettes. For those of you who don't know, Ruyan has the first patent on the e-cigarette design.
Here's the site: http://www.e-cigarette-china.com/
Good Luck!

Ok there seems to be a few e cig stores around the city. I have only been to the 2 in Yatap and a small booth in Yongsan. I guess Janty has a store at Technomart and some other locations. http://www.jantykorea.com/sub06/buy_me.html
But to be honest, I wouldn't buy in Korea. They are so expensive here. It's much cheaper buying on the internet. especially from Chinese wholesale sites like eastmall.
It's been a little over a month since I started using these things. I have three different kinds. The Ruyan v8 atomizer doesn't work very well anymore. I went back to the store and they gave me another one for free but it doesn't seem to work either. I really don't think they know what they are doing there. I ordered another atomizer on the internet for 6 bucks.
Also, one of my m401 batteries doesn't work anymore. I think liquid got in it. It came with a warranty so I will try to get them to send me another one. The other cig I got from Ebaco in Yatap is working fine but the carts that came with it are absolutely disgusting. I refill them with my own juice. Here's a good video showing how. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPHQO4tcoH0
I bought these 3 cigs in Korea and spent a lot more than I really should've. BUY ONLINE
Despite these problems I still like vaping. It's not exactly the same as smoking a real cigarette but it gets the job done for me. I don't cough in the morning anymore, I don't stink like smoke, and I can do it in places I otherwise wouldn't be able to. I wish more people would use these things so I won't feel like such a dork lol |

Thanks for the info Na la Ri. I got my ecig (901) from BestEcig in China about a week an a half ago. Their customer service was great and after my e-check cleared, I received the package in about four days.
Its been a week and a half and everything is still working well.
I ordered four flavors of nic juice: flu cured, Hilton, Ry4, and menthol. So far the flu cured and menthol are my favorite. From my experience so far, and from what I've read, you can't expect an e-cig to really "taste" like a normal cig. Although the throat hit is similar the taste takes some getting used to.
I also think Na La Ri makes a good point about ordering from cheaper suppliers rather than buying in Korea. As he mentioned, the parts of an e-cig are disposable in their own way. I mean that the batteries, atomizers, and of course cartridges or liquid will all need to be replaced at one time or another. Whether a battery last two weeks or a month, you will need to be ordering more, better to do it cheaply. I good suggestion I think for people wanting to start out, is NOT to buy an overpriced starter kit. Just order 3 batteries, 3 atomizers, a few boxes of cartridges and a few bottles of nic juice and you should be set for at least six to eight weeks under $100.
Overall, I have to say I am satisfied with my e-cig and have only smoked a few normal cigs since getting it.
It would be nice if we could start an "e-smoking" thread maybe in the off-topic forum as there's alot of good information on the two threads that i've seen.
Happy Vapping |
