www.interpark.co.kr

They handle all the major event/concert tickets in Korea. You may need a Korean to help you buy them though.

I checked interpark and they have nothing listed. I believe that it's just a club show so I assume you just show up.

She's not listed on Club Answer's website either.

www.clubanswer.co.kr

If you just show up at the club for the show what time would it be at and how much is it likely to cost to get in? I've read that it is considered a "luxury club" so I assume one needs to dress up for this?

Is it hard to get into this club?

Awesome- hype up a show that nobody can go to!
Sparkling!

Lady Gaga= more vapid crap that the sheep call music.
Pussycat Dolls, Britney, etc.
They are nothing but "entertainers"!

And what's wrong with being an entertainer? They might not have the best voices but they sure know how to put on a show... I was actually sad I missed the Pussycat Dolls while they were in Korea.

But I agree it's quite messed up to hype up an event that you can't get into. I was excited about this too...

That kind of thinking is exactly why Korea has one of the most pathetic music scenes in the developed world. It's a whole country of people who shrug and go, "Eh, it's not bad. We really don't need another boy/girl band, but it would take me out of my comfort zone to listen to anything else."

My only defense of Western music is that, while most of it IS shit, you also get a fair amount of quality stuff that slips through the cracks.

A few excepts from Lady Gaga's song "Love Game"

Quote:
Let's have some fun,
This beat is sick
I wanna take a ride on your disco stick
Don't think too much just bust that kick
I wanna take a ride on your disco stick

And another...

Quote:
I can see you staring there from across the block with a smile on your mouth and your hand on your huh
The story of us it always starts the same with a boy and a girl and a huh and a game!

Brilliant. The bar has ben raised... or lowered, depending how you look at it. Rolling Eyes

Korea? Lady GaGa is on top of the charts in America...

Besides that, whether or not it's "quality music" is of course based on personal preference. I will say that her lyrics aren't the most thought-provoking or even insightful BUT her melodies rock. The production values are awesome. And it's just damn fun to bop your head along with it. Her album is currently on my ipod and I am not the least bit apologetic for it Very Happy

Some music is art, some music is commodity.

Yes, we live in Korea, if you're not aware. She's also, apparently, playing at Answer, which you also seem to be unaware of?

My point was that your defense/excuse for crap is why we live in a country with a joke of a music scene. Have you ever actually seen her? You can't exactly mix her up for your average Korean.

Was reading how she got her name from Queen's "Radio Gaga" back in the day.

She's original, maybe that's why she made it to the top of the charts. I want to dance like that. ha
