Cort Serial number: 080542004
It's been used for a bunch of gigs, and some recording and it has been well cared for.
I have a Danelectro Cool Cat "Fuzz" pedal for it, too. It sounds great for songs like, "Time is Running Out" or "Song 2"
I bought the bass for 240,000 in that big music place near Insadong, and got the pedal there for 60,000. I got them both about 6 months ago.
So I'm looking for 150,000 for the both of them. I won't sell them individually, and I won't go any lower.
PM me if you're interested.

Based on the first picture it is almost certainly a t-34. I am surprised people don't bother figuring out what model guitar they have before they post. All it takes is one visit to the guitar manufacturers website.

Edited: Apparently I am a "cock" for being a "typical dave's poster" and because we all know typical dave's poster actually post useful product information along with their snide comments.
In fact, I am going to add that this probably a fairly decent price for what you are getting (provided you try it out first and everything seems like its in good condition).
I don't know about their basses, but their electrics are usually thought of as being decent value starter guitars. I can only assume the same is true of their basses.
So yes, I am a cock for writing a cynical post that actually admits that I think this might be a good deal (although not nearly as nice as my fender fretless Jazz bass).

I don't know why people care. It's a bass guitar. I don't care about numbers, and what name it has. I just care if it sounds good. |

The reason why it matters is that there are a lot of copy cat guitars out there (like the Chinese knockooff of an ipod), so to a buyer it could mean paying a hundred or so more for something only to find out it's not the real McCoy.
I bought an electric guitar a few weeks ago, and at first they tried to sell me a model I didn't know about. It sounded like a good deal until I asked about replacing the pickups. That brought the cost up 100,000 won. So, I decided to buy an Ibanez at the same price instead of getting new pickups.
I am not saying it's the same here, but maybe the pickups are an issue to the buyer. If in that case, the buyer may already know what pickups sound good to them. If you have a set of pickups the buyer likes, then they are more likely to be interested in buying them before even checking out the guitar in person. |

The pickups are important, but so is the wood.
The wood they use in Cort's is not plywood and that in itself is very useful to know. Not all agathis is top notch, but some of the better pieces can be a lower priced substitute for Mahagony which is a quite popular wood for guitars.
Cort's quality control is actually better, IMO, than many budget guitar makers.
I have only played one, but I have read many good reviews of them online as well.
Those specs on the neck are also helpful. The thickness of the neck affects playability.
There is a lot of quality variation among even low priced basses. |

Yeah. It was a neon party in Hongdae.
I thought it would be cool for people to see the bass in action |

If you play in gigs and is so famous like you make yourself out to be, then you'd know what kind of guitar you're playing, besides that it's just some bass. If I was interested in buying something that's going to cost me more than a hundred thousand, I'd also want to know the name and model. |

Why post in this thread if you're not interested?
^Don't reply to that please.
I never made out like I was some famous person, I just thought it would be nice for people to see the bass in action.
Also, I still don't regret what I sent Golem. He has proved my point from the condescending way he has posted in this thread. |

it's funny how people expect owners of 150 000 won instruments to be fully knowledgeable re: the model, wood, pickups, etc. no offense intended, but someone selling or buying a beginners' instrument is probably not all that knowledgeable or concerned about the ins and outs of bass construction.
a 150 000 won bass is (probably) a bare-bones, entry-level instrument, which might be exactly what someone is looking for. it could probably be made to sound pretty good with some minor upgrades. i say if it feels good in your hands and sounds ok, then it's a good buy. |
