Can anyone recommend a suitable book for the more advanced students of a public elementary school? I realize this is hard seeing as 'advanced' seems so vague - but i'm guessing/hopig, it's a similar standard across the board.
I have to teach an 'English Elite Class' twice a week for an hour and a half. I need a book where i can go through vocab, exercises and have some fun at the same time. I've heard 'Wordly Wise' is decent.
Any help appreciated.

Have you met the students yet? Sometimes these 'elite' classes turn out to be not so stellar. |

yeah, i know them. 'Elite' is certainly a stretch, but they are all pretty decent - way ahead of the curve in public school ('I like Spring' is a little boring for them to say the least). |

If they really are elite you could always take some stuff off the net and use that. May more interesting than some lame boring book (again). |
