No. I don't even feel superior to a snail in the literal sense. Ok I have superior skills in certain respects but I don't feel 'superior.'
To Quote Whalt whitman -
"I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you."
There is no superiority. Although it's a complex matter. If I accidentally trod on a snail and killed it, would it bother me - i have to say no. If I killed a dog or a person - YES. But who can emphasise with a non mamillian snail?
Do I walk around (or even want to ) feeling superior to anyone or anything - NO! |

It's hard to feel superior when everyone in this awful country believes that we foreigners are animals. |

No, but it's also very hard to feel inferior in Korea.
A great sense of absurdity. Yes. I feel that. And serendipity. |

A perfect reason to feel superior. |

Does a gorilla in a zoo feel superior to the people who yell things at it? take its picture, feed it food? maybe not.
I learned a good trick from the gorilla at the zoo though when I was a boy, it picked up some of it's poo off the floor and then threw it at the people who thought they were superior. I tried it the other day, it really works! |

Yes.
I'm the first to say it.
Yes. I feel superior to nearly every person that I meet.
Is it right?
No.
Do I act upon it?
No.
Is it justified.
Probably not.
But yes.
I do feel superior. |

No, I don't. I feel like a misfit out of place in such a place lacking diversity where my race always draws too much attention making it awkward to do anything right down to walking outdoors. |

It's not the answers that matter but - asking the right question!
It's not the ultimate point that matters - but the proccess of getting there itself...

I think every teacher feels superiour, we are the ones who teach, who give the lessons, who tell about our lives, cultures, idioms. Our movies have taken over the world, our music, our culture, our livestyles, our rules. Koreans are just trying to copy everything we do. Our language is the language of the world, and that gives us a reason to feel superiour, and koreans wish they had that place in the world, and I believe that is one reason there is some bitterness about teachers here, they look at us and are jealous, and try to find some fault. |
