James W. von Brunn, the suspect in Wednesday�s shooting at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, believed �that many grave and still unresolved crimes were committed by US officials prior to, during and after the events of 9/11� according to an online petition he signed.
Von Brunn was the 9,196th person to sign the �Petition of Solidarity� hosted on the website Justicefor911.org, which claims it is sponsored in part by the organization 911Truth.org. According to the website over 16,600 people have signed the petition.
The petition reads, �most of these apparent crimes [by US officials], including but not limited to abetment of mass murder, criminal negligence, insider trading, and obstruction of justice, fall well within the jurisdiction of New York�s top law enforcement officials, who thus become the People�s last recourse when federal intervention yields no credible answers, relief or accountability.�

Actually that's a good point, I should have done that.
I think this guy is so much of a fruitcake that it's ridiculous to try to pin him down as either 'right' or 'left', he hates everybody...but it's rather disingenuous of political commentators of either stripe to try and pidgenhole him. But this guy is also a perfect example of how spreading 911 and similar conspiracy nonsense is not only a sign of, but leads to, mental illness and tragedy. |

Anyone who says he's right or left is probably just trying to use him to make right wing or left wing people look crazy. He has right wing and left wing views that people could choose like sound bites to paint him as either. Rush picks out his left wing views to make him look like a crazy left winger. The bottom line is that he was a nutjob and doesn't represent anyone other than himself. |

And it is absolutely documented that everyone who develops mental illness or is struck by tragedy drank milk as children.
To just what mental illness would you be referring anyway? Not a single diagnosis of the hundreds from the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders mentions "spreading conspiracy theories" as a risk factor or diagnostic criterion. Nonsense indeed. |
