Hey all,

I got a job but SMOE back in April through Korea Connections. Apparently SMOE was still sorting out the contracts and said they would available by May 6th. It's now June and apparently they still aren't finished.

Anyone else in the same boat? Do you know what's going on?

It's just causing me probs as I'm leaving the UK on July 25th and getting any visa stuff sorted out after that will cause me major difficulties!!!

Cheers
Ross

I just got an e-mail with the new SMOE contract Thursday night, through a different recruiter. I was told to sign it and fax it back, then SMOE will start to get the Notice of Appointments. Hopefully, you may hear something within a few days from your recruiter, but the new contracts are out.

Thanks guys, just got an email back from my recruiter who says they still havent got the contracts. Don't know what's going on there, thought SMOE would have sent contracts to all the agencies at once.

It's getting me a little stressed as I need everything sorted by the 27th July.

Just out of interest what recruiters are you guys using?

Hi Ross,
I got notification from Korea Connections yesterday that I'd got the job and same thing as you, contract was being ammended and would follow shortly. And it did! I received it this morning. All seems pretty straightforward.
Are you going through the Vancouver office with Jamie Lee? Just email her and I'm sure she'll furnish you with a copy of said contract.

See you in Seoul
