|
|
For 10 mins every class i play a game with my 6th graders. As a result, I've become somewhat of an expert with Powerpoint. About a week ago someone posted one and now here's mine... it's nice because you can t accidentally click anywhere, and it has all the frills you'd expect from the mother of all templates
This is the first game ive ever shared with the public. For public elementary school teachers, this PP is a review of chapters 1-8.
Let me know what you think. Thanks!
This will not work on PP 2000

Wow! This template is simply amazing. My students think that it's awesome, and I feel the same way. You've made my review session for my students final exam much more fun and interesting.
But I had a quick question to ask of you. I know most of the basics regarding PowerPoint, but I'm having some problems rearranging some of the slides and setting up hyperlinks from the main menu to the other slides. Could you give a quick heads up on how you do that?
Thanks again - I highly recommend this template to anyone looking for one. |

Most Excellent!
Thank You, Although there were a few misspellings of heavier, and the french fries are actually lighter than the doughnut.
Nevertheless, great job. I'll be manipulating it to my own wily needs!
Could you explain your double/switch/lose points system please? |

it's very useful and will serve me well for the two weeks after exams.

Thanks I appreciate your response. And thanks for the heads up on the french fries, I cant believe I missed that.
As far as double, switch and lose are concerned... these were just added for my elementary students, they tend to loose intrest quickly if something radical changes. If you get the smiley the team's points double. if you get the a rainbow, you now have the other teams points and they have yours. and if you get a bomb you lose all your points.
On a side note, "answer in a complete sentence" for $800 the smiley face should be moved to the answer slide and not the question slide if that makes sense. if they the daily double they can wager money (it's explained in korean as well)
As far as changing hyperlinks, and I'm not sure why you would need to. you must be very careful... there are 3 images on top of eachother and so you will need to change the hyperlink on the bottom image. To do this you will need to move the top 2 images, change the hyperlink, and then move them back to where they were.
Have fun |

Thanks!
Does anyone know why I could click on the numbered buttons in one class but it didn't work for the other class and each button said Jeopardy?
I have powerpoint, might not be new. |

Thanks again, Jon, I've been totally milking this Jeaopardy game. I just change all of the questions and answers to whichever topic I have to do. It's great, and the kids love it! Thanks! |

It sounds like the problem is that your not using powerpoint 2003 or above. It will not work on PP 2000. I believe you can download a powerpoint viewer from microsoft. Just google Power point 2003 viewer |
