i've had hundreds of stories published in newspapers when i was a journalist, almost all of which seem to be fading away on old newsprint

but a health story i did waaay back in college for the college paper was picked up by the national college paper newswire, then reprinted in countless online journals and blogs, and continues today as by far the most famous article attached to my name, all because the topic was cutting edge, involved the environment so lefties picked up on it (i can't say any more about it because indeed, google associated my name with the very topic involved! all because i accidentally came across a quirky story and decided to do some last minute phone interviews to fill space on the features page, geez)
