I am selling an

ACER Travelmate 2420
Intel Celeron 1.5GHz
40GB harddrive
2GB RAM
CD/RW
English Windows XP
wireless

Asking 200,000 or best offer

Not many people here know but ACER is the third highest selling notebook in the world. They don't sell them here in Korea. I assume Samsung does not want the competition. But it is a great notebook.

Let me know.

I never knew Acer was the third largest computer manfacturer until today. That really doesn't mean much in terms of re-selling your computer. I was also pretty surprised to find that Acer has a better business bureau rating of D- but that is also totally irrelevant to selling your computer.
I think we can assume that because its running the celeron M chip that its Windows XP.
Those chips aren't very powerful but I seem to recall they had really decent power conservation.
I think that he or she has a more sensible price than most. I see people on craigslist posting computers this old for over $300 but I honestly believe those people have trouble selling their computers at that price.
To bad the person didn't mention the hard drive size, whether it has wireless, and the screen size. If it was a small computer I might be tempted to buy it and give it a second life using Linux.

Cool I know, I know. Asking for basic specs about an item that is being sold for over $100 is quite taboo and definitely warrants me being labelled as a phallus.
Then again, I am not offering 25-50% of the price he is asking for his computer.

It is the third largest computer manufacturer also? I didn't know that.
