I just hate video avatars annoying. How many times can you watch something before it gets old? Not many.

I think animated avatars should be banned outright, and Pwillig's is one of the more annoynig ones I've seen.

No way, his avatar is the best thing I've ever seen. Maybe I'm just too easily amused, but every time I see that thing, I laugh hysterically. Seriously, it's the best part of Dave's...gotta get my laughter in somewhere.

adblock plus with custom image filters is great, but some of them need to go.
There are a lot of avs here that are far above what the forum rules say they should be. This site is already slow enough we don't need people running around with 1.5 MB animated avatars.

The file size is often huge, and the dimensions often exceed those permitted under the rules. Very few people would want to animate something that conforms to the forum rules as it would be too small to see most detail.

My favorite one now has to be Jean Claude Van Damme in the background of that Breakin' movie.
